A Danish Baroque silver coffee pot and stand, of oval fluted form, the coffee pot with hinged domed cover, finial and scroll handle of wood. The reverse pricked with weight W: 42 Lod. The stand reverse pricked with weight W: 14 lod 3 qt. Maker's mark ICS for Jens Christensen, licensed 1721–1734, the widow continues, mentioned 1735–1762. Both hallmarked with Copenhagen town mark 1736, the coffee pot with monthly mark Sagittarius, the stand with monthly mark Libra. Weight 645 g. and 213 g. H. 25 cm. L. 23.5 cm. (2)
