Feodor Rückert (, Moscow 1896-1908)

An exceptional Russian gem-set, silver-gilt and shaded cloisonné enamel box, rounded rectangular form with hinged lid set with a large faceted citrine and eighteen smaller faceted tourmalines and beryls in flower-shaped mounts, the exterior with shaped panels, brightly coloured blossoms and foliage against cream and green grounds, the design further heightened with applied beads. Workmaster Feodor Rückert, assayer Ivan Sergeievich Lebedkin in Moscow 1896–1908, 88 standard. Weight c. 210 g. H. 2.5 cm. L. 9.3 cm. W. 6.5 cm.
