Peder Mønsted (b. Grenaa 1859, d. Fredensborg 1941)

In the early 1890s, Peder Mønsted stayed in Greece and spent half a year at the Royal Palace as a guest of King George I (1845–1913), who was born in Denmark. His long reign (1863–1913) spanned the formative period for the development of Greece as a modern European state. Today the palace houses the Greek parliament.
