Original b/w still or promotional photograph of English actor Peter Sellers (1925–1980) in the role of Dr. Strangelove in the film 'Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and to Love the Bomb' from 1964. Back with restriction stamps and stamped date of newspaper publication (January 29, 1964). Black stained oak wood frame with double glazing. Visible size 18×23 cm. Frame size 28×33 cm.

'Dr. Strangelove' from 1964 was produced in England and is loosely based upon the author Peter George's novel “Red Alert” from 1958. The movie, which is a satire about the Cold War and the prospect of a nuclear nightmare, was directed by Stanley Kubrick and shows Peter Sellers in three key roles.
