Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden was the grandfather of the country's current king, Carl 16. Gustaf, father of Queen Ingrid of Denmark and thus grandfather of Queen Margrethe 2.
Provenance: Resignation gifts from King Gustaf VI Adolf and Queen Louise of Sweden to the Danish diplomat Jens Anthon Vestbirk, ambassador to Sweden in the period 1956–1964.
This is a pair of signed b/w silver gelatin presentation photographs of King Gustaf VI Adolf and Queen Louise of Sweden with the couple's authentic signatures. Bruun Rasmussen warrants the authenticity. Cardboard plates slightly yellowed. Cardboard plates also with light age-related discolouration. The crown on the photograph of the king not attached (included).
