Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna of Russia's two bone and silver letter openers, mounted with silver handles of respectively a horse and dog, both scratched with the autograph of the Grand Duchess. First half 20th century. L. 20.5 and 26 cm. (2).
Previously acquired at Bruun Rasmussen online auction 1249, 2012 no. 8547. Then with the provenance: Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna of Russia, later her friend, Countess von Elzelingen, who belonged to the circle of Russian refugees in Copenhagen.
Minor wear due to age, among others few dents, marks and chips.
