Wilhelm Marstrand (b. Copenhagen 1810, d. s.p. 1873)

A monk blessing a small child and “En Bonde med sin Søn på et Æsel” (A farmer with his son riding a donkey). One unsigned, one signed. Marstrand on the back. Pencil and drawing ink on paper. 18×13 and 17×15 cm. (2).

One with horisontal and vertical fold marks, loss in the upper right area and minimal tears, some near the fold lines. The other with a few minimal discolourations.Both with paper that have turned slightly brown. Examined in frame.
