The Septima was developed between 1927–1931, and a prototype was exhibited for the first time at the Danish Museum of Decorative Arts & Crafts (later Designmuseum Denmark) in September 1928. The Septima pendant is considered to be among the top PH lamps and by collectors considered not only rare, but a rare lighting sculpture.
