An iron mounted flintlock pistol c 1750 with an iron carved butt cap decorated with a grotesque masks and foliate, flat somewhat crudely carved lock with foliate, c 31,5 cm long barrel in calibre c 15 mm marked with a makers mark on the right side.
Condition
The iron cleaned, the lock cannot stand in the first rest and stands tightly in the final rest. The ramrod for show and the barrel is held to the fore-stock by brass wire.
