The Artichoke was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the restaurant Langelinie Pavillionen in Copenhagen, where it is still a part of the interieur. It consists of 72 leaves divided into 12 rows, and their placement gives a total anti-dazzle light regardless of the viewing angle. Source: Louis Poulsen.
