Cathinka Olsen (b. Copenhagen 1868, d. s.p. 1947)

A large, round stoneware vase modelled with a narrow mouth. Decorated with flower- and leaf decor in shades of grey, brown, violet and blue. Signed monogram, 1751. Made and marked by Bing & Grøndahl. H. 16.5 cm. Diam. 27.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Parts of the glaze polished off - presumably caused during the process of making in an attempt to even out glaze residue.
