A study for the large portrait of Frederik VI at Christiansborg Castle painted for the government building at The Danish West Indies. Three painted sketches for the same composition is at Rosenborg Castle, Det Nationalhistoriske Museum at Frederiksborg and Koldinghus (see Wilhelm Bendz 1804–1832.
