A Danish partly silver-gilt fish vinaigrette, of the Tønder-model, movable scaly body and tail, openable head with gilt interior, hinged mouth compartment, eyes and gills with glass stones. Apparently unmarked. Late 18th century. Weight 61 g. L. 10.5 cm.

Minor wear due to age and use, including few and minimal marks and scratches. The upper gill broken off and is enclosed.
