Danish cabinetmaker
An oak cabinet with two doors in front decorated with carvings in the form of foliage, eight drawers with brass handles. Interior decor with shelves and drawers. Presumably made by cabinetmaker and carver Mikael laursen, Aarhus in the 1940's. H. 150. B. 130. D. 44 cm.
Hans J. Wegner designed several furniture for Mikael Laursen in the early 1940's, several of which were made with the same carvings. However, it can not be proved that Wegner has had anything to do with the above cabinet.
Wear due to age and use. Marks, scratches and veneer damages on the sides.
