An amethyst brooch set with two square-cut amethysts, mounted in 14k gold. L. app. 4.8×4.9 cm. Georg Jensen, 1904–1914.
Provenance: Anna Pawlowna Jensen (1878–1973) great-great-granddaughter of the Russian Field Marshal Kutuzov.
Originally presumably designed as a unique piece of jewellery or as a buckle made of gold from Russia, hence the different shades of gold.
Accompanied by letter of correspondence with Georg Jensen Archives, a handwritten letter by the family, photos, and a case.
Condition report on request.
Payment is possible only by credit card in the salesroom or by bank transfer.
