Portrait of Martin Petersen, proprietor of “Kobberstikhuset Kunstantikvariat” (“House of engravings”). Signed and dated Arvid Fougstedt Köpenhamn 19:8 1932 and inscribed “Herr Martin Petersen 'Kopparstikhuset'”. Pencil and crayon heightened with white on paper. Sheet size 36×25.5 cm.
The “House of engravings” (“Kobberstikhuset Kunstantikvariat”), owned by Martin Petersen, was housed at Dronning Tværgade 49 in Copenhagen.
Mounting marks on the reverse of the corners. The paper has turned slightly brown.
