Anna Stahn is a visual artist and writer educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Arts in Copenhagen and The New School in New York.
Stahn employs a multitude of disciplines including text, printmaking, drawing and ceramics. She is the co. founder of the art-publishing house Longetti. Soft forms and colors, a fast-moving line, composed by a range of different motives, characterize Stahn’s works, her work can also be recognized by her use of curious feminine creatures from common life that appears and emerge into abstraction. Her mural is called ‘Crackling, gasping skirts’ and is inspired by public wall paintings on sports clubs and public housing. The figures could be playing a ball or engaging in a witch circle.
