This model can be found in a preliminary design by Arnold Bode contained in a portfolio with designs for “Tectaform” furniture which Bode personally dedicated to former Domus director Schöck, dated “mid-February 1953”. In the 1950s, Arnold Bode mostly worked as an interior designer. In 1955 he founded the documenta in Kassel together with Werner Haftmann and functioned as its artistic director until 1968.
