Phantasier og Skizzer. Cph: Forfatterens Forlag 1831. 1st ed. 8vo. With inscription written in verse from Andersen to Miss Hillerup (Bramstrup Gaard). [3]+134 +[2] p. Half-title with previous owner's name. In orig. wrappers, untrimmed. Frontwrapper restored, binding with minor repairs. Housed in fine slipcase, with FP's bookplate.
In Andersen's second poem collection “Phantasier og Skizzer” (Phantasies and Sketches) he has written a poetic inscription: “De vil mig kjærligt dømme / Naar dér jeg staaer / hvor man ei kan drømme. Til Erindring om Forfatteren.” (“They will lovingly judge me / Once I stand / Where dreams cannot roam free. In memory of the author.”)
