“The Summer Vase” was the first object designed by Axel Salto, which was added to the model registered at the factory in 1931. The few models Salto designed prior to this for Royal Copenhagen were not registered as Royal Copenhagen models. “The Summer Vase” in this way becomes the confirmation of his legendary involvement with Royal Copenhagen in the following decades.
