A Chinese silver bowl with applied decoration of flowering prunus, magnolia, calabash fruits, chrysanthemums and birds. Maker's mark presumably Wing Chun, Hong Kong. 19th-20th century. Weight 649 g. Diam. 20.5 cm. H. 10 cm. Carved wood stand incl.

Provenance: Engineer Rasmus Black 1871–1937, Sophus Black's elder brother, was employed by Northern Telegraph Company and stationed in China 1898–1917.
