Elise Konstantin-Hansen was the daughter of the golden-age painter Constantin Hansen, and in her memoirs "Små kapitler af et langt liv” (Small chapters in a long life) she describes, among other things, her family's living room with the large French doors.

Provenance: By descent in the artist's family.

Condition

The canvas is lifting at the corners and needs to be reattached. Minor retouches. Numerous small crackles. Pin holes. Lower corners with tears.
