A circular Vienna style porcelain dish, decorated in colours and gilt, the centre paint with “The Christ Child and the Infant Saint John the Baptist with putti” after P.P. Rubens, gilt palmette border in basrelief, surrounded by flower vases and foliage on claret ground. Impressed Carl Knoll, Carlsbad, 33 and inscribed “Spielende Kinder nach P.P. Rubens”. Seceond half of the 19th century. Diam. 34 cm.
Condition
Two nicks at the rim. Discoloration at the outer rim.
