A group of Chinese export silver items comprising a wine goblet, engraved, maker Li Sheng H. 9.5 cm. Further, four small sat cellars, three pepper casters and a tongues adorned with dragon chasing the flaming pearl. C 1900. Weight 195 gr. (9)

Provenance: Civil engineer Carl Gimbel (1881–1946) professor at the Imperial University of Beijing 1910–1912 with rank of Mandarin of 3rd degree. 1913–1928 District Manager of the Salt taxes.

Condition

Wear due to age, wine goblet with crack and repair.
