“Stokken i Hornbæk”. View from the village gathering point in Hornbæk. Unsigned. Inscribed on the reverse and attested (in Danish): “Painted by my father” by Hansen's daughter, Marie Axelsen, née Konstantin-Hansen. Oil on canvas laid on cardboard. 26×37.5 cm.

Provenance: A stamp from Winkel & Magnussen on the stretcher. Bruun Rasmussen auction 108, 2006 no. ​380.

Condition

Minimal retouches. In need of a light surface cleaning.
