Portrait of a gentleman wearing armour and a red bow tie. Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 80×66 cm.

The stretcher is stamped “Stamhuset Rønningesøgaard” (Entailed estate Rønningesøgaard). Rønningesøgaard was the entailed estate for the Mylius family from 1825 to c. 1906.

Condition

Several repairs / patches on the reverse. Retouches. Areas with minor peelings and small crackles.
