Louis Armstrong was among the most important figures in jazz, had a career that spanned five decades and received numerous accolades, including the Grammy Award for Best Male Vocal Performance in 'Hello, Dolly!' (1964). From 1947 and until he died in the summer of 1971, he was the leading force in 'Louis Armstrong and His All-Stars'.
