This photograph was taken on February 7th 1964 when the four Beatles members aboard a Pan Am plane landed in John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. Here they were wecomed by 3,000 screaming fans. Six days earlier the Beatles had captured the top spot of American hit parade with “I Want to Hold your Hand”. The visit to the US was the band's first.
This is an original b/w press photograph from 1964. Extremely rare. Has never been published. A crack is seen in the upper left side. Furthermore upper left corner has a crease. Furthermore normal signs of handling.
