“The Sculptor's Chair”. Three-legged solid birch wood chair with wedged mortise and tenon assemblings. Designed circa 1980. Made and stamped JHQ by IQ designs. H. 70. Seat H. 49 cm.
“The Sculptor's Chair” was relaunched on the occasion of Quistgaard's 85th birthday and presented at the exhibition “The Industrial Icons” at Design Museum Danmark in Copenhagen in 2004.

In good original condition with minimal traces of wear. The rear joint can seem easily movable, all depending on the temperature in the room, the wood is affected by temperature fluctuations. It has no effect on stability.
