Lise Svanholm, A Catalogue Raisonné of the Works of Laurits Tuxen, 1990, no. 1099 mentions a painting with the title “Den engelske flåde på Skagen Red” (The English fleet on Skagen roadstead), that one dated 14/8 19. The present painting is presumably from the same time.
