A pair of portraits of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria (1717–1780) and her consort Francis I (1708–1765), parents of Queen Marie Antoinette of France (1755–1793). Unsigned. Oil on canvas. Each measuring 146×111.5 cm. (2).

In need of cleaning. Numerous crackles and various peelings and scratches. Retouches of varying degrees. Her: With a minor repair/patch on the reverse near the chest, and a tear near lower edge in the centre (c. 4×2 cm), and a minor hole near the same place. He: The canvas is relines.
