An important and rare South Sea pearl necklace set with numerous fine cultured South Sea pearls and a diamond clasp set with numerous brilliant-cut diamonds weighing a total of app. 1.92 ct., mounted in 18k gold. Colour: F. Clarity: VVS. Pearl diam. app. 12–15 mm. L. 88 cm. Clasp diam. 1 cm.
The pearls are from the oyster species: Pinctada Maxima and with origin of Australia. The pearl quality is rare with a Perfect-Very Slight Imperfections upon the surface and a Fine lustre.
