The present painting has earlier been in the collection of De Danske Kongers Kronologiske Samling on Rosenborg Castle with inv. no. Q Nr. 4. The painting was in the period 1794–1830 in Christian IV's small tower room on the ground floor. Comes with documentation.

Condition

The canvas is relined. Minor pressure mark from stretcher. Crackles. Retouches.
