Gertrud Vasegaard (b. Rønne 1913, d. 2007)
A stoneware dish decorated with blue glazed decor on a light grey glazed base and with brown elements. Unsigned. Unique. H. approx. 3.7 cm. Diam. 17.5–17.9 cm.
Multiple firing cracks from the process of making, including two hairline cracks by the upper rim, and a crack formation in the bottom of the dish. Few burst glaze bubbles. Many areas on the exteriour with lacquer fillings, presumably made by Vasegaard herself. Please see detailed images. The dish isn't completely circular.
