The kudu - the World's second-largest antilope - lives in the southern and eastern part of Africa. The name is rooted in the native isixhosa language (iqudu), from where it was absorbed by Afrikaans (koedoe). Finally, in the 18th century, it became part of the English vocabulary - spelled “kudu”.
Condition
