A pair of porcelain Meissen basket sweetmeat figures, modelled as reclining and holding oval baskets on shaped scroll moulded base. 2863 and 2858. Germany, 19th century. L. 31 og 33 cm. (2)

Provenance: Descendants of Frederik VIII (1843–1912) until today.

Condition

Man: Firering defect on collar and basket. Repair on one littlefinger and on both handles. Chip on bow. Woman: Repaired on underarm, both handles and one knee.
