The brig “Lougen” in battle with two English warships off the coast of St. Thomas on the 3rd of March 1801. Under the command of Captain lieutenant Jessen. Unsigned. Watercolour on paper. Visible size 26×92 cm.

Condition

The paper has turned slightly brown. Discolourations and some foxing. Some minor losses. A large tear/repair near lower right corner. Examined in frame.
