An iron mounted European flintlock pistol c 1700. The butt cap with a suggestion of a grotesque mask, slender butt with an escutcheon, slightly banana shaped rounded lock without signature held by a side plate of dragon type, trigger guard ending in three balls decorated with grotesque masks, c 30 cm long three stage barrel in calibre c 15,5 mm, the fore-stock ends in wood and the ramrod is held by two fluted pipes.

Condition

All iron spotted and worn, a chiver of wood is missing on the right side of the fore-stock and the ramrod is to short.
