A porcelain elephant shaping a cigar beaker, decorated in colours wearing caparison bearing Frederik IX's crowned monogram, embellished with cylindrical tower and rider in the shape of a turban-clad moor. The sides attached with Rhine stones. Model no. 519. Royal Copenhagen, 1953. H. 24 cm. L. 24 cm.

Sculpted in 1903 by Theodor Madsen to court jeweller A. Michelsen.
