“Crocodile Cabinet”. A patinated oak cabinet with dark polished “shoes”. Front with two solid doors with crocodile carvings in relief, brass fittings. Interior with adjustable shelves. Designed 1950. This example made approx. 1954 by cabinetmaker Mikael Laursen, Aarhus. H. 133 cm. W. 123 cm. D. 44 cm.
Provenance: “Ørnebjerggård”, Rodskov, Hornslet. Acquired by the current owner's grandfather in 1954, directly from cabinetmaker Mikael Laursen in Aarhus. Hence by descent in the family.
