Ejnar Olsen

Sterling silver mocha set with hammered surface. Comprising a mochapot, a creamer and a sugar bowl. Mochapot with wood handle. Made and marked by Hans Hansen anno 1938. Designed 1930. Total weight 620 gr. H. 6,6–17 cm. (3)

Einar Olsen began his career as a silversmith at Georg Jensen's silversmithy. In 1930 he was employed at Hans Hansen's silversmithy, where he became the master for Karl Gustav Hansen and made sketches for his own designs.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Foot rim on all three pieces with engraving: “27–5-1941”.
