Sofie Lunøe is a traditionally trained goldsmith. Her aim is to create jewellery as small wearable sculptures. She strives to merge classic materials such as gold, diamonds and pearls into modern compositions. The Twist collection is her reinterpetration of the classic pearl jewellery. The structure of the Twist modules is very simple, a gold thread is twisted so the pearl fits into the opening gap. The pearl is seemingly just stuck there, but a pin goes through to secure it.
