Flemming Brix, Finn Terman Frederiksen and Svend Erik Lorentzen (BFL), A Catalogue Raisonné of the Works of Theodor Philipsen, 2016, no. 279a. Previously mistakenly considered to be identical to BFL 279.
BFL and VS are presumably mixing up two works in the same reference - one measuring 34×52 cm cm (sold at Bruun Rasmussen auction 1534, 2015 no. 1) and the present painting 33×44 cm.
Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 393, 1979, no. 310, purchased by engineer K. Heiberg-Andersen, Rødovre; still in his possession in 1991. Bruun Rasmussen auction 1239, 2012, no. 100.
