The Pelicans organic shape is a good example of the way Finn Juhl was inspired by abstract sculptures and artists.
The Pelican Chair was first presented at the Copenhagen Cabinet-makers' 14th Guild exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark the 20th September-6th October 1940.
