Christian Hornemann (b. Copenhagen 1765, d. s.p. 1844)

A pair of portraits of a married couple, he is wearing a white cravat, yellow waistcoat and blue coat, she is wearing a white dress with a high collar and black ribbons in her hair. Both signed and dated Hornemann 1815. Pastel on paper. Visible size c. 48×40 cm. (2)

Her: With a few minor retouches. Both with minor foxing. Examined in frame.
