A Chinese porcelain vase with panelled sides wherein decorated in underglaze blue with six dragons elevating from the sea, under the rim peaches and bats. Marked Chenghua, but Republic, early 20th century. H. 29 cm.
Provenance: Brought back from China in the 1920s.
Condition
Minor wear due to age and use. Internally with cracks from firing defect. Firing defects brown inclusions. Bottom with starcrack.
