A George III gilt bronze mounted and brass inlaid rosewood music clock, arched gilt brass dial with painted moon phase, silvered chapter ring, movement with repeat pull, calendar, quater striking, nine bells and large striking bell, the back richly engraved with flowers. Signed in the centre and on the back 'Eardley Norton, London', timepiece No '1428'. England, c. 1780. H. 58 cm. W. 35 cm. D. 24 cm.
