A Chinese cloisonné enamel cover with meandering lotus blossoms and ruyi edging in red, blue and green on turqouise ground above which an applied open-work gilt-bronze band cast with five-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl; an imposing seated lion as a finial. Inside with four-character reign mark Jingtai Nian Zhi. Late Ming, early Qing 17th century. Weight 565 g. H. 11 cm Diam. 13.5 cm
