A collection of Cypriot antiquities comprising a “Red Burnished ware” half globular bowl with small handle, a flask/askos decorated in red with geometric decoration, fragment with palmette and two female heads. Bronze Age 2nd mill. BC and later (fragments). Diam Skål 14 cm. L. Flaske 16 cm. (5)

Provenance: Danish private collection. According to information acquired in Cyprus by a Danish doctor stationed for the UN mission in 1968. Thereafter passed down in the family.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Flask chipped and with cracks, one head repaired. For countries outside Denmark, this auction lot may be subject to special regulations. Therefore, potential buyers are advised to familiarize themselves with the regulations of their respective areas.
