A silver and shadowed cloisonné enamel casket, interior gilt, formed as a treasure chest, decorated with stylized scrolling flowers and foliage, curved hinged lid with pansies in en-plein enamel, two handles. Ignati Pavlovich Sasikov, assayer Ivan Sergeievich Lebedkin in Moscow 1898–1908, 84 standard. Weight 150 g. H. 4 cm. W. 6.5 cm. D. 4.8 cm.

Provenance: Present from a Russian refugee to Anna Andrevna in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, when she assisted hiding and transporting refugees from Denmark to Sweden during WW2. Anna Andrevna was born in Russia and married to the Dane, Julius Rutzebæk. Thence by descent with residence in Denmark until today.
